Super Super Sofvi Series Returns After One Year — Vol. 2

From Go Nagai’s classic manga “Mao Dante,” which later became the basis for Devilman, ENKA VINYL presents a 2-figure set of Mao Dante and Medusa in sofvi form. Both figures are sculpted based on their original manga designs.
This is the first time Mao Dante has ever been made into a sofvi figure in standard size. And Medusa, made in finger-puppet style, is also being turned into sofvi for the very first time. Both characters have had very few figure adaptations in the past, and they are highly requested by fans of Go Nagai’s works.

Sculpt & Paint

Mao Dante is sculpted with a retro Showa-style deformation, highlighting his large wings and three long tails. While keeping a nostalgic silhouette, the figure includes fine details such as body hair, feathers, and the texture of the hands and feet, giving it a strong sense of depth.
The paintwork is done by Kenth Toy Works. Using blue vinyl as the base, layers of blue metallic and navy airbrushing create rich color and depth. The head is finished with hand-painting, making this a very detailed expression for a mass-produced sofvi.

Size & Collectability

The size and proportions of this figure are unified with previous releases such as Zenon and other items in the Devilman series. This ensures a consistent look when displayed together, enhancing the collectability of the entire lineup.
