About ENKA VINYL

“Sofvi” refers to PVC (i.e., soft vinyl) figures that are unique to Japan dating back to Showa period. ENKA VINYL was established with the aim of creating sofvi that takes full advantage of the qualities of PVC.

ENKA VINYL strives to produce sofvi that truly embodies the essence of sofvi; sofvi that preserves the spirit of the Showa era and enables you to experience the soft vinyl texture, meaningfully made with soft vinyl.

We will also actively pursue the creation of sofvi for characters that have not yet been made into sofvi.

FAQs

Q: Do you offer permanent sales?

A: As of July 2024, we do not offer permanent sales, but we intend to expand our selection of regularly available products going forward.

Q: Will there be a resale of the same product?

A: As a rule, we do not reissue the same product. If we do, we intend to alter the color scheme.

Q: Do you participate in events?

A: We plan to actively participate in events both in Japan and overseas. We will announce in advance through our website, email newsletters, and social media.

Q: Do you sell original design sofvi figures?

A: We primarily develop licensed sofvi figures, but we also plan to sell original design sofvi such as those produced in collaboration with artists.

Q: Do you sell unpainted (blank) figures?

A: We do not plan to regularly sell unpainted figures. However, we plan to offer blank figures made of glow-in-the-dark material as limited pre-sales at events.

Q: Do you sell sofvi figures by SwimmyDesignLab?

A: As of now, we have no plans to offer them through ENKA VINYL. We will continue to sell sofvi figures under SwimmyDesignLab name via the @swdl_sofvi Instagram account.

Q: Do you sell products other than sofvi figures?

A: We intend to expand our range to include apparel and miscellaneous items.

This collection is driven by the ambition to release all characters from Dynamic Planning. We aim to create sofvi figures, including characters that have not yet been made into sofvi, with a focus on preserving the original essence.
