The second release in the “Sugoi Collaboration Series” comes from Towa Gangu, a brand known for creating original sofvi with a unique worldview.
For their very first licensed project, they’ve brought the animated version of the Toho kaijyu Hedorah to life in sofvi form, reinterpreting this classic motif through Towa Gangu’ creative lens.
The sculpt was done by Keisuke Nishiyama of Towa Gangu. The clay was carefully torn into small pieces and combined to create a design full of organic, accidental textures.
The lower body — hidden underwater in the original animation — is sculpted in a way that sparks the imagination and excitement of collectors.
The paint features a more subdued tone compared to Towa Gangu’ regular releases.
It blends naturally when displayed alongside ENKA VINYL’s existing sofvi or even vintage pieces, maintaining the brand’s distinct character while harmonizing with any collection.
