Introducing the New Series: “Kaiju Big Parade”

ENKA VINYL proudly presents Jirahs as the first standard-size Ultra Kaiju in our lineup. Jirahs first appeared in Episode 10 of Ultraman, “The Mysterious Dinosaur Base,” and has appeared in the series many times since.
Kaiju Big Parade is a new series featuring standard-size kaiju from various titles, not limited to Ultra Kaiju. It is made in the same scale as our Godzilla Big Parade series, so they can be displayed together.

Connection with Godzilla 1964

In the original TV series, the Jirahs suit was created by modifying the Godzilla 1964 suit. To recreate this history, this sofvi uses the exact same prototypes for the body, arms, and legs as our recently released Godzilla 1964. The copyright marking on the bottom of the feet has been changed to the © Tsuburaya Productions version to match this product.
This is the first time ENKA VINYL has released a product using the same prototypes as another release. Displaying it alongside Godzilla 1964 allows you to compare their shared sculpting and see the differences between the two characters

Yellow Mold Color

Most Jirahs sofvi are produced in green or blue-green mold colors, but for this release we chose a yellow mold color. The paint application uses a simple combination of muted green and gold, allowing the yellow mold color to stand out beautifully.
The paintwork was once again done by Kenth Toy Works, featuring smooth spray-painted gradients. Although it uses the same body as Godzilla 1964, it has a completely different overall impression.
