New-Type Mecha Series Vol. 2

The second release in the “New-Type Mecha Series,” featuring mecha and robot characters from various licensed works as sofvi.
For this release, Ganger, the main robot from the anime Astroganger, has been made as a standard-size sofvi. Astroganger began airing about two months before Mazinger Z and was one of the early sci-fi robot anime series in which a human becomes one with a giant robot to fight enemies.

A Character Known for Vintage Sofvi

Ganger is well known as a vintage sofvi character from the Showa era, but there have not been many modern sofvi releases of the character.
This version is based on the design from the anime and produced in ENKA VINYL’s standard size. The simple form is inspired by Showa-era robot sofvi.

Showa Hero Colors and Scale

Sky blue is used as the mold color, with dark red and navy applied by mask painting. The colors keep Ganger’s original characteristics while giving it the look of a Showa-era hero.
It is made in the same scale as previous ENKA VINYL robot sofvi, including Mazinger Z and Steel Jeeg, allowing characters from different series and works to be displayed together.
